This product is a kind of non-crystalline micro-porous white powder. The material is used only as a processing aid and for the purification of beverage (such as beer, spirits and wine) where the material would act in a similar fashion to activated carbon and other adsorbents by removing unwanted compounds that cause off-flavor and turbidity in the final drink. For example, it is used in the process of refining protein macromolecule in process of beer brewage and to prolong beer store period. One of the important processed in beer brewage is to protect beer from non-biology feculence. In order to keep beer clear, some stabilized preparation must be added to eliminate protein that may make beer looks feculent.
